Daughter Number Ones Card........

I still can't quite believe that I am now the mother of a teenager!

This is the card I made for our Lucy....like most teenage girls she is loving the Hunger games and can't wait for the next movie to come out!  So it just had to be this gorgeous digi from Krista! (which isn't actually available anymore.....)  I am happy to say she loved it....apparently it's the most epic card ever!!

 

 The papers are all from my scrapbox...there's those Fishtail Banners again!lol  

This was the cake we made....Hubby made the sponge and I decorated and I am pleased to say it went down a storm!

Camo Girl....

 

I forgot to post this card...made for my friends daughter...I love this girl ( Salute Her which you can buy HERE )and had a wee go at trying pink camo trousers! I had started colouring her a while ago so she has been part coloured with Promarkers and then finished off with Copics!

I have also used my new Fishtail Dies which I am in love with at the moment....I think I have used at least one on every card I have been making at the moment!

Saturated Canary Challenge #43

Woop it's my turn to pick a theme this fortnight at Saturated Canary Challenges and as May is when both my babies were born (one turns teenager on Sunday....eeekk)  I have gone for a green theme, no surprose there as it's my fave colour!....Emerald is also the birthstone for May and I found this scrummy inspiration board on the web!!

 

We have a few little rules to follow

 

You must use either a:

Saturated Canary Digi,

Saturated Canary rubber stamp,

or Simply Sassy rubber stamp

and follow the theme of the challenge.

and please remember you can only enter once.

And most importantly....

Have lots and lots of fun!!!

 

I have to admit I am really chuffed with how this card has turned out....I have been somewhat lacking in Mojo these last few weeks but when I sat down to colour this image it's like it all came flooding back! This is for my youngest who is turning the grand old age of nine at the end of the month, she is a bling kinda girl hence loads of stickles for sparkle!

Sugar Bowl Challenge.....

 I have finally pulled my finger out and entered the current challenge over at The Sugar Bowl!

I have dusted off my Simply Sassys and been playing with me new Copics....and also my new Fishtail Dies which arrived the other day!  Think I have maybe overdone it on this card though!

It's the last day of our Easter Hols so I am off to make the most of it in my cupboard!

I have made quite a small card using some more wee scraps of papers, I have stamped my image with Memento Cocoa and left it uncoloured......I have used some old book pages to make some flowers and inked all the edges with Walnut DI....
